The monochrome images that make up the remainder of the projected series have been grouped together here under the rubric of the “the redeemed? or irredeemable?” which is taken from the one fragment that Jaldaboath left to us where he may have seen something than his feet grounded to his world: “what's the [...]ng difference[...] the[...]redeemed or irre[...].” (click here for the fragment). The images are collated by the obvious formal property: they are solely black and white. The first image has a exceptional quality to it, though: It has no cinematic border (see fragment).
The rest are consistant and all taken outdoors. Number 9 is taken from behind the sign as if in empathy, ‘seeing’ how they do, perhaps. A few of the signs (1, 4, 5 and 6) have glare on them, forced illumination from the viewer's perspective i.e from the camera.
